Lead magnets, following up, social media ideas
Today’s call revolved primarily around the concepts of lead generation, follow up, and using customers and vendors to help expand your outreach. Let me dissect each section below, and of course you should listen to today’s call to get the full effect and information.
There is probably a minute or more of silence near the beginning as we were waiting for other callers to get on the line. Please excuse the delay.)
Lead magnets for home stagers.
In my Roadmap to a Million Dollar Staging Company handout, there were some ‘best marketing practices’ that I recommend, including creating lead magnets. According to OptinMonster.com, “A lead magnet is an incentive that marketers offer to potential buyers in exchange for their email address, or other contact information. Lead magnets usually offer a piece of digital, downloadable content, such as a free PDF checklist, report, eBook, whitepaper, video, etc.”
For home stagers, effective lead magnets may be something like a home staging checklist, Spring Housekeeping Techniques, etc. If you have an account with MailChimp, they offer landing pages, which are great for lead conversion, to create such offerings easily. The potential customer simply adds their contact info (which you determine – less is better), and it will auto email the offering to them. Their info is then instantly added to your contact database. You can even set up your system to send regular follow up messages after the initial email, to keep the potential customer engaged.
