Home stagers are entrepreneurs with a lot to think about on the finance and operations side of staging, on top of actually designing and executing a stage. For our mentoring call this week, we focused a bit more on the business side of things:
- How to hire movers
- Bulk furniture orders
- What to do with old or damaged pieces
- AmericasMart, Atlanta
- Getting business from other stagers
Plus, our Monday Mentoring tip of the week:
We all know that if you don’t unpack as soon as you get home from a trip, your stuff is likely to keep sitting in your suitcase for way too long. The same goes for unpacking after a destage. The most efficient way to move items in and out of your warehouse is to make sure that, at the end of the day, every destage has been unpacked and put away, and every stage for the next day has been picked and laid out for moving.
