Agent Meets Stager Episode 2 focuses on vacant home staging. Tori Toth, of Stylish Stagers, talks with Erica Rose Siegal, Exit Realty. Erica’s first question for Tori centers around the question,
“Why should home sellers spend thousands of dollars on vacant home staging when they are selling and carrying costs are already so expensive?”
Toth’s answer begins with industry standards like, “Only 10% of buyers can picture what a vacant home would look like with furniture, art & accessories.” Breaking down the time saved on market, which means saved carrying costs, and typically higher offers more than pays for staging fees.
Staging a vacant home should be thought of as an investment, not an expense. The ROI, for staging, particularly when it comes to vacant homes, is tremendous. Contact your local home stager for details on local statistics.
