An agent discusses how to have the staging discussion with home sellers

Angela Batchelor, RESA 2012 Staging Agent of the Year Finalist, has a frank discussion on talking to home sellers about staging their home. In this six and a half minute video you’ll watch her seamlessly overcome the most common objections sellers have about staging.

This was such a refreshing discussion! Angela knows the value of the stagers she has (Jessica and Rebecca Pirone) and how marketing her properties through staging has helped her sell more properties for a faster sales time and price. She’s got the right formula and the proof to back it up. We need to bottle her energy and passion! Her clients are smart to choose her!
Angela is absolutely right on the money, I couldn’t agree more.
As Angela demonstrates, when talking to home sellers and real estate professionals we, as home stagers, need to use statistics and examples to prove to the client that showcasing their home is not an option but a necessity. Couple that with Angela’s energy, excitement and confidence and you have a formula for success.

Kathy – I agree completely. Stagers need to keep and know their local statistics and give it to their agents. Angela also knows her personal statistics when her clients have staged and when they haven’t and now won’t take a listing if they don’t stage. She knows it is a waste of her marketing dollar and time to do otherwise.
The numbers don’t lie. We can tell them all we want that Staging works but the numbers help to see that it really does.
She needs to be a featured speaker next year.
